Account Information

When you sign up for AURAMAX using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, we may collect:

• Email address (optional for Apple users who choose to hide their email)
• Full name (first and last name, also optional for Apple users)
• Unique identifier from Apple or Google to link your account

Profile Information

To provide personalized facial analysis, we collect:

• Gender (male/female/unspecified) - used to tailor analysis recommendations
• Onboarding status - to track your app setup progress

Analysis Data

When you use our facial analysis feature:

• Uploaded photos - processed for analysis but not permanently stored
• Analysis results including:
  • Overall attractiveness scores
  • Facial feature assessments (face shape, eye color, jawline, etc.)
  • Personalized improvement recommendations

Communication Data

When you interact with our AI coach:

• Chat messages you send to our AI wellness coach
• Conversation history to provide context for ongoing discussions

Referral Information

If you participate in our referral program:

• Referral codes you claim or share
• Referral status and invitation counts

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't collect:

• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Your contacts or address book
• Photos beyond those you explicitly upload for analysis
• Payment information (handled by Apple/Google App Stores for subscriptions)
• Social media data beyond authentication
• Third-party tracking data

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide facial analysis using AI technology to assess your photos
• Personalize recommendations based on your analysis results and profile
• Enable AI coaching through our wellness chat feature
• Manage your account and authentication

Face Data Collection and Use

As an app that provides facial analysis features, we want to be completely transparent about how we handle face data:

What Face Data We Collect

When you use our facial analysis feature, we collect and process:

• Descriptive facial assessments - general descriptions like face shape (e.g., "oval"), eye color (e.g., "blue"), and jawline structure (e.g., "defined")
• Feature scores and ratings - AI-generated scores for categories like skin quality, facial harmony, and overall attractiveness (for entertainment purposes only)
• Personalized recommendations - beauty and wellness suggestions based on your analysis results

Important: We do NOT collect biometric identification data, facial landmark coordinates, or precise measurements. We do NOT permanently store your uploaded photos - they are processed immediately and then deleted from our servers.

How We Use Face Data

Face data is used exclusively to:

• Generate your personalized facial analysis results
• Provide tailored beauty and wellness recommendations
• Enable AI-powered coaching through our wellness features
• Improve our AI analysis algorithms (using anonymized data only)

Third-Party Processing

Your face data is processed by:

• OpenRouter AI - Our AI analysis partner processes uploaded photos to generate facial analysis results. Photos are transmitted securely via encrypted connections and are not retained by OpenRouter after processing completes.
• No other third parties have access to your face data or uploaded photos

Data Retention

• Uploaded Photos: Processed immediately and deleted within seconds. Never permanently stored.
• Analysis Results: Retained indefinitely in your account so you can track progress and access historical recommendations. Results include facial feature scores, ratings, and recommendations, but do NOT include your original photos.
• Account Deletion: When you delete your account, all face data and analysis results are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights Regarding Face Data

You have the right to:

• Access - Request a copy of all face data and analysis results associated with your account
• Delete - Request immediate deletion of specific analysis results or all face data
• Opt-out - Choose not to use facial analysis features at any time
• Correct - Request corrections to inaccurate analysis data

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using:

• Supabase - A secure, PostgreSQL-based database platform
• Encryption - All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Authentication tokens - Secure JWT tokens for account access

Image Processing: Uploaded photos are processed for analysis using AI technology but are not permanently stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In - For secure account authentication
• OpenRouter AI - For facial analysis and AI coaching features
• Supabase - For secure data storage and management

These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your data - Request a copy of your personal information
• Update your information - Modify your profile details within the app
• Delete your account - Remove your account and associated data
• Opt out - Choose not to participate in optional features like referrals

Age Requirements

AURAMAX is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information immediately.

• Notify users through the app when significant changes are made
